Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day this year was so much fun! My sister and I decided to make it a day for loving our families! After we got out of church, we went home to get ready for my sister. When she got here we grilled out steaks, and had baked potatoes, salad, and desert. It was very nice to take this holiday to celebrate the love within the family, rather than it being all about romance. Tony and I got Harmony a huge Valentine's heart pillow, giant Hershey Kiss, and card! The pillow was so big she could sit on it, and still have a little space all the way around it. It was a special day that I will remember forever!!! The Friday before was when Harmony's class celebrated at school. Mrs. Stanton threw a simple party with popcorn, pretzels, and juice. The kids really had a great time eating and exchanging Valentines!!

Wow...SNOW...again!

I was really excited that we got some pretty significant snow this year. It almost felt like everytime we turned around it was snowing again. It only stuck pretty good two times, but just watching it fall was so peaceful! Harmony was in Winter Heaven! We built our third big snowman as a family...Willie the 3rd! This time we decked him out in TN gear for my cousin Tee. Harmony got to sled, go 4-wheelin', build snow castles, and eat my homemade snow-cream. She loved every minute of it, and I loved every minute of watching her out there! I hope we have more Winter's like that in the future!!!

The downfall to lots of snow. It freezes and then driveways need shoveled! I was proud of myself for shoveling the whole thing! :-)
